there’s a face in the back of my mouth. i think it’s winking.
i cut the roof of my mouth from eating a bowl of rip-off captain crunch cereal. you know, the cheap brands of your favorite cereal that come in a giant plastic bag instead of a cardboard box? yeah. don’t buy them. this is what the roof of my mouth looked like the next morning.
…and this is what the roof of my mouth looked like in the shape of the most visually disturbing member of the mcdonald’s gang! looks kind of like the predator got to him.

this is steve aoki, one of my favorite L.A. DJ’s. i had a long-time running project called “DESTROY STEVE AOKI”, and my intent was to turn one of his nicer promo pictures into, well… something along the lines of “DIAMOND EYES”, but it ended up like this. i’m pretty happy with it, but i think i’m going to follow through with completely defacing him and fulfilling the DESTROY STEVE AOKI project. i should have the final product ready in one or two weeks. stay tuned.

this past weekend i went to Make Music Pasadena. it was a 10-hour music festival completely open to the public, with some forty bands playing at random venues (from the parking garage-entrance to the local TARGET supermarket, to independently-run coffee shops, to small streets closed off entirely that hosted larger stages) all along Colorado Blvd. the bands i went to see were Raveonettes, Autolux, The Little Ones, and Plasticines. tons of free merch, tons of free water bottles, and tons of food stands from Whole Foods with ungodly amounts of samples! visit my youtube channel if you want to see more videos from the event.
this is from a photoshoot for a friend of mine, currently attending California State University in Northridge. the pictures were taken months ago, but she didn’t develop them until a week ago. thanks, christiane, you couldn’t have captured kenny’s gay love for me any better.
